The OM642 3.0 V6 diesel engine responds extremely well to Stage 1 tuning, offering stronger mid-range performance, improved acceleration, and smoother power delivery throughout the rev range.

VGSX-NAG2 Gearbox Tune

To support the increased engine torque, the gearbox software was also recalibrated with:

• Raised clutch clamping pressure
• Increased clutch torque limiters
• Faster gear changes overall
• Higher maximum clamping force during launch
• Quicker manual mode response

The result is a more responsive and controlled driving experience with smoother, faster shifts under acceleration.
