Ford Transit tuning
Ford Transit and Transit Custom remapping in Bristol, Somerset and South Wales
The Transit and Transit Custom are the backbone of countless local businesses. A remap gives them stronger pulling power when loaded and a more relaxed drive, and we do it at your workplace or home address with minimal downtime. We come to you from our Weston-super-Mare base, across Bristol, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, South Wales and parts of Devon and Dorset.

What a remap does on a Transit
On a Transit, the difference you feel is the torque. Pulling away loaded, climbing hills and holding speed on the motorway all become easier, with fewer downchanges. A Transit Custom we tuned at Stage 1 shows how much a van can gain.

Economy-focused calibration suits vans that cover long distances, with smoother torque so the engine works less hard. Results depend on routes, loads and driving style, so we never promise a fixed saving.
Gearbox tuning
Automatic Transits and Transit Customs use a 6-speed or later a 10-speed automatic. Where a gearbox tune is supported, it smooths shifts and lets the gearbox make use of the extra torque.
Tuned for working vans
A van remap is about useful low- and mid-range torque, not a headline number. Loaded vans pull more easily, hold gears for longer on hills and motorways, and need fewer downchanges, which is where economy-focused calibration can help with fuel use, depending on routes and driving style.

We tune at your workplace or home address, and can do several vans in one visit. A remap does not change the van's payload, towing or gross weight limits.
- Single vans and mixed fleets
- Appointments at your premises
- Pre-tune diagnostics on every van
- Economy-focused calibration available
Examples of our Ford Transit and Transit Custom work
Before any work
Every appointment starts with a diagnostic scan and a check of the vehicle's condition. If something needs attention first, we tell you before any tuning is done. Installed software is covered by our lifetime software warranty, and tuning is a modification, so remember to tell your insurer.

Common questions
Can you remap several Transits in one visit?
Yes. We come to your premises and can tune several vans in one visit, planned around your work.
Does a remap change my van's payload?
No. Payload, towing and gross weight limits stay exactly as the manufacturer set them.
Can you help with AdBlue warnings on a Transit?
Yes. We can help diagnose and fix AdBlue, DPF and EGR faults on site, usually for far less than replacement parts.
