Some vehicles support useful calibration and coding options alongside an ECU or gearbox tune. Availability depends on the exact control unit and software version, so we confirm each feature before booking.

Burbles, overrun and pops & bangs

Burble activation from subtle OEM+ to loud crackles. Burble control is also available, so they only activate in Sport or Sport+ (or your manufacturer's equivalent modes).

Hardcut / popcorn limiter

Pops and bangs for diesels: a deliberate cut at a selected RPM that creates audible pops and crackles for a sportier feel.

Speed limiter removal

More control over the vehicle's speed settings for track and private use. Always comply with legal speed limits on public roads.

Cold start solution

A loud car and considerate neighbours? Reduce the volume of the start-up flare.

Fault code (DTC) solution

Some fault codes are triggered even when no real problem exists, for example after swirl flaps are removed. Remapping is the cleanest way to stop them.

Decat / O2 solution

Prevents fault codes appearing after exhaust changes made for sound and performance.

Exhaust flap control

Pairs well with burbles: flaps open in Sport and Sport+ and close in Eco and Comfort (or your manufacturer's equivalent modes).

Hot start fix

Adjusts engine control parameters for smoother, more reliable starts when the engine is hot.

Soft limiter solution

Rev past the stationary limit of around 3,000rpm and hear what you paid for.

Sports display update

Power and torque gauges recalibrated to show the vehicle's new output after tuning.

GPF / OPF solution

Help with petrol particulate filter faults, blockages and related warning lights.

Intake manifold flap solution

Software for removed or replaced intake manifold flaps, to improve airflow and avoid related fault codes.

TVA solution

Throttle valve actuator solution to reduce airflow restriction and sharpen throttle response. Not available on all vehicles.

Stop/start disable

Switch the stop/start system off for good.

Torque monitoring off

Allows more precise tuning on supported platforms for a more personalised drive.

MAF solution

Mass airflow sensor solution for modified intake setups and a more responsive throttle.

SAIS solution

Secondary air injection system faults, found on some vehicles, resolved in software.

COD solution

Cylinder on Demand disabled for consistent power delivery from every cylinder.

RPM limiter increase

On suitable engines, raising the rev limiter can add usable performance.

Keep it usable

Aggressive exhaust effects and unsuitable limiter changes can damage components, create legal problems and make a road car unpleasant. We favour sensible settings and will decline requests that are unsafe for the vehicle.
