BMW 330e G20 Stage 1, Same-Day ECU Unlock & Gearbox Tune

This BMW G20 330e plug-in hybrid went from a combined 292hp and 420Nm to around 400hp and 700Nm with our Stage 1 ECU calibration, a gain of 108hp and 280Nm. Its locked ECU was unlocked and the ZF gearbox tuned in the same visit.

Why the 330e responds so well to tuning

The G20 330e combines BMW's B48 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a plug-in hybrid electric system. With the engine and hybrid system working together, careful calibration gives a big step up in mid-range performance, much stronger acceleration and better throttle response, while staying smooth for everyday use.

Same-day MG1CS201 unlock

The car had the newer, locked Bosch MG1CS201 ECU. We removed, unlocked, refitted and tuned it at the customer's address in one appointment, with no ECU mail-in and no second visit.

ZF 8HP gearbox calibration

The ZF 8HP gearbox was calibrated to suit the extra torque, improving shift behaviour and torque management so the gearbox and engine work together.
