The results

Power went from 313hp to 350hp, an increase of 37hp or around 12%.

Torque rose from 650Nm to 720Nm (+70Nm), which is what you feel most in everyday driving: stronger pull from low revs and easier overtaking.

What the work involved

A Stage 1 remap is a software calibration for an otherwise standard car. We refine parameters such as boost, fuelling, ignition timing and torque limits within safe margins, so it pulls harder through the mid-range without any hardware changes.

The gearbox was tuned as well. A gearbox calibration raises the transmission's torque limits to suit the engine and can sharpen shifts and response, so both work together as one package.

The vehicle had an AdBlue problem causing warning messages or reduced performance. We diagnosed the fault with dealer-level equipment and carried out a solution to get it back on the road.
