This BMW 740d was brought to us after the owner began experiencing a number of issues following an aftermarket remap. The vehicle was suffering from excessive exhaust smoke, poor fuel economy and noticeably reduced performance, making it clear that the existing calibration was not operating as intended.

Following a full diagnostic assessment, we identified the software as the likely cause of the issues and successfully restored the ECU back to genuine factory stock software. Once returned to the original BMW calibration, the vehicle's drivability, performance and fuel consumption were restored, eliminating the problems caused by the previous tune.
