The results

From 306hp as standard to 365hp, the BMW 335i gained 59hp, roughly 19% more power.

Torque rose from 400Nm to 500Nm (+100Nm), which is what you feel most in everyday driving: stronger pull from low revs and easier overtaking.

What the work involved

This was a Stage 1 calibration: no hardware changes, just carefully refined engine software. Boost, fuelling, timing and torque limits are adjusted within safe margins for more usable performance every day.
