BMW F80 M3 Stage 1 & DCT Gearbox Tune

This BMW F80 M3 went from 431hp and 550Nm to 500hp and 680Nm with our Stage 1 calibration, a gain of 69hp and 130Nm, with a DCT gearbox tune.

The results

Power went from 431hp to 500hp, an increase of 69hp or around 16%.

Torque rose from 550Nm to 680Nm (+130Nm), which is what you feel most in everyday driving: stronger pull from low revs and easier overtaking.

What the work involved

A Stage 1 remap is a software calibration for an otherwise standard car. We refine parameters such as boost, fuelling, ignition timing and torque limits within safe margins, so it pulls harder through the mid-range without any hardware changes.

We also tuned the gearbox, raising its torque limits to match the engine and making shifts quicker and more decisive, particularly in Sport and manual modes.
