BMW M3 remapping in Bristol, Somerset and South Wales

We tune every modern generation of M3, from the naturally aspirated E46 and E9x to the twin-turbo F80 and G80, at your home or workplace. We come to you from our Weston-super-Mare base, across Bristol, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, South Wales and parts of Devon and Dorset.

BMW M3 generations we tune

Factory figures vary by market and year. We confirm your car's exact ECU and software before quoting.

E46 M3 (2000–2006)

S54 3.2 naturally aspirated straight-six, 343hp and 365Nm.

E90/E92/E93 M3 (2007–2013)

S65 4.0 naturally aspirated V8, 420hp and 400Nm.

F80 M3 (2014–2018)

S55 3.0 twin-turbo straight-six, 431hp and 550Nm; Competition 450hp.

G80 M3 (2021 on)

S58 3.0 twin-turbo, 480hp and 550Nm; Competition 510hp and 650Nm. Newer ECUs may need unlocking first.

Turbo and naturally aspirated M3s

On the turbocharged F80 and G80, a remap can add a large amount of power and torque because boost is under software control. Supporting hardware opens up Stage 2.

The E46 and E92 are naturally aspirated, so gains are smaller and come from fuelling, timing, throttle mapping and rev limits. The result is a sharper, more eager engine rather than a big number, and we are honest about that before quoting.

Gearbox tuning

E92 M3s and F80s with the 7-speed DCT benefit from a matched gearbox map with faster shifts and better launch behaviour. The G80 uses the ZF 8-speed M Steptronic, which we also tune.

Common questions

Is it worth remapping a naturally aspirated E92 M3?

Gains are modest compared with a turbo car, but a good calibration sharpens throttle response and makes the V8 feel more eager. Paired with a DCT map, the car feels noticeably quicker.

Can you tune the G80 M3?

Yes. Some newer G80s have locked ECUs, which we can unlock on site before tuning.
