Like the M135i, the M235i has two generations: the rear-drive N55 F22 coupé and the four-cylinder F44 Gran Coupé. We tune both. We come to you from our Weston-super-Mare base, across Bristol, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, South Wales and parts of Devon and Dorset.

F22/F23 M235i (2014–2016)

N55 3.0 turbo straight-six, 326hp and 450Nm.

F44 M235i xDrive Gran Coupé (2020 on)

B48 2.0 turbo four-cylinder, 306hp and 450Nm. Needs an ECU unlock first.

What a remap does on the M235i

The F22's N55 is a superb engine to tune in a light, rear-drive coupé, and the result is a car that feels much faster everywhere.

The F44 needs a Bosch MG1 unlock; an F44 M235i we tuned was unlocked on the same day and tuned from 306hp to 335hp. For the B48 F44, our Stage 1 targets 335hp and 500Nm and Stage 2 350hp and 530Nm. Figures are approximate targets and depend on the car's condition, fuel quality and supporting hardware.

Gearbox tuning

Automatic cars are mapped for higher torque limits and quicker shifts to match the engine.
