Factory figures vary by market and year. We confirm your car's exact ECU and software before quoting.

E81/E87 118d and 120d (2004–2011)

N47 and earlier M47 diesels, 118d 143hp and 300Nm, 120d 177hp and 350Nm.

F20/F21 118d and 120d (2011–2019)

N47, later B47: 118d 143–150hp, 120d 184–190hp and 380–400Nm.

F40 118d and 120d (2019 on)

B47: 118d 150hp and 350Nm, 120d 190hp and 400Nm. Newer cars may need an ECU unlock.

What a remap does on the 118d and 120d

A diesel 1 Series gains most in mid-range torque, which makes overtaking and motorway driving more relaxed. A 118d we tuned went from 143hp to 180hp at Stage 1.

Economy-focused calibrations are also available for higher-mileage drivers who want a smoother, more efficient drive.

Gearbox tuning

Automatic cars use the ZF 8-speed (or the 6-speed on earlier models), which we can map for quicker, smoother shifts.
