What a remap does on the 335d and 435d

These twin-turbo diesels respond superbly. The 286hp E9x 335d (M57) targets 350hp and 680Nm on Stage 1 and 365hp and 730Nm on Stage 2, and the F30 335d, 335xd and 435d reach 370hp and 730Nm at Stage 1. Figures are approximate targets and depend on the car's condition, fuel quality and supporting hardware.

With torque figures this high, we always pair the engine calibration with a gearbox tune and check the car's health first.

Gearbox tuning

The ZF 6-speed and 8-speed are mapped for higher torque limits, which is essential on a car making this much torque.
