F22/F23 M240i (2016–2021)

B58 3.0 turbo straight-six, 340hp and 500Nm, ZF 8-speed or 6-speed manual.

G42 M240i xDrive (2021 on)

B58, 374hp and 500Nm, ZF 8-speed. Usually needs an ECU unlock first.

What a remap does on the M240i

The M240i's B58 gains strongly from Stage 1 alone; an M240i we tuned with a gearbox tune went from 340hp to 420hp. Rear-drive cars benefit from progressive torque delivery that keeps traction predictable.

The G42 has a locked Bosch MG1 ECU on most cars, which we unlock on site before tuning.

Gearbox tuning

A ZF 8-speed gearbox map raises torque limits and sharpens shifts. We can also map the gearbox on its own if the engine is already tuned.
