E82 1M Coupé (2011–2012)

N54 3.0 twin-turbo straight-six, 340hp and 450Nm (500Nm on overboost), 6-speed manual.

Tuning a modern classic

The N54 has plenty of headroom in boost and fuelling, but it also has well-known weak points such as injectors, wastegates and the high-pressure fuel pump. We check the car's health and data before any changes, and calibrate for long-term reliability rather than a headline figure.

We save the original software first, so the car can always be returned to its factory calibration.

Gearbox tuning

The 1M only came with a 6-speed manual, so no gearbox tune is needed; we make sure torque delivery suits the clutch's condition.

Can the clutch cope with more torque?

A healthy original clutch usually copes with a sensible Stage 1. If it is already slipping, we will tell you before tuning.
