Every X5 M and X6 M uses a twin-turbo S63 V8, and few cars respond to calibration as dramatically. We tune them at your home or workplace. We come to you from our Weston-super-Mare base, across Bristol, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, South Wales and parts of Devon and Dorset.

Factory figures vary by market and year. We confirm your car's exact ECU and software before quoting.

E70 X5 M and E71 X6 M (2009–2014)

S63 4.4 twin-turbo V8, 555hp and 680Nm.

F85 X5 M and F86 X6 M (2015–2019)

S63 4.4 twin-turbo V8, 575hp and 750Nm.

F95 X5 M and F96 X6 M (2020 on)

S63 4.4 twin-turbo V8, 600hp and 750Nm; Competition 625hp. Newer ECUs may need unlocking first.

Effortless performance

In a car this size, the extra torque from a remap is felt everywhere: joining motorways, overtaking and towing all become easier. The S63 has the strength to deliver it reliably when the car is healthy.

We check boost control, fuelling and cooling before tuning, because these engines work hard and need to be in good order.

Gearbox tuning

All three generations use a ZF automatic. A matched gearbox map raises torque limits and sharpens shifts to suit the engine.

Is towing affected by a remap?

The extra low-down torque usually makes towing easier. We calibrate within sensible limits for the engine and gearbox.
