BMW 520d generations we tune

Factory figures vary by market and year. We confirm your car's exact ECU and software before quoting.

E60/E61 520d (2005–2010)

M47 then N47 2.0 diesel, 163–177hp and up to 350Nm.

F10/F11 520d (2010–2017)

N47 then B47, 184–190hp and 380–400Nm.

G30/G31 520d (2017–2023)

B47, 190hp and 400Nm. Later cars may need an ECU unlock first.

Power or economy

A Stage 1 remap makes the 520d noticeably stronger: an F10 520d we tuned went from 184hp to 220hp. For high-mileage drivers, our economy-focused tune adds smoother torque with efficiency in mind.

Both options make a heavy executive car feel more relaxed on the motorway.

Gearbox tuning

The ZF 8-speed is mapped for smoother shifts and to make the best use of the extra torque.
